iDVD '08 crash on start fix

ok, many others idvd 08 crashing on startup. fix worked me. post 2 though since there seems another.

fix one:
run onyx (repair permissions)
dump idvd permissions
restart
reinstall idvd (only install idvd not other stuff)
repair permissions
restart

fix two:

step 1. go personal library/application support/idvd folder
remove installed themes folder
step 2. go system library/application support/idvd/themes folder
move themes old versions of idvd other place
chose move of themes idvd 1 thru idvd 6 out of there.

first fix did job me when second did not. not happy ilife 08 can do....
 

use pro apps.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
