External hard drive enclosure decision?

well, i've decided want maximum compatibility, i'm going quad interface enclosure (esata, usb 2.0, fw 400/800). used different machines: pc, g4, random g5s, , random macpros. i've pretty narrowed down this one (maybe w/o software -$10) , this one.

both have oxford 924 chipset, priced same, etc. real difference looks, ministack can serve usb hub, , minstack doesn't come esata cable (which isn't big deal don't have esata card @ moment).

really, i'm looking w/experience either of these.

it'll paired 500gb(for now) sata 3.0gb/s drive (another decision have make).

ideas?

 

i don't have experience v3, ministack v2 good, fan taht goes on when needed, etc.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
