Will upgrading the software darken the screen?

i've heard update may make screen not bright. i've got series 7 (love it, no dots on mine, rich blacks) noticed when showing photos outside under umbrella in open shade screen hard see. friend iphone in state said can view photos outside.

have on max brightness time auto off.

has noticed upgrade making screen dimmer? thx.
 

i didnt notice screen being darker after updated iphone. have 7 series screen , love well. have mine set 1/3 brightness , dont think have problems viewing pics outdoors? anyway no change in brightness if ask me.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
