Weird screen then ....

so in middle of sending email desktop g4 running tiger 10.4.8, system showed no weirdness leading this. new weird gray pattern of sort showed ...not usual bomb etc icons or restart alert...very briefly, pattern covering screen, , screen went black, though power still going screen. thought maybe screen died, hit volume , down no sound. fan still active, no major noises of kind otherwise. zapped pram, tried set in target disk ibook, run cd, etc. no dice. seems hardware or firmware failure rather software problem. hadn't added new peripherals or system updates, sudden failure. no harddrive noises. there little "engage" whir, light on screen turns on, fan runs, etc. no startup after point. failure of processors? ram? harddrive? ideas?:confused:
 

that used happen old dell working on after put , forgot put processor in:confused: whatever happened, doesn't sound promising.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
