New iPod Nano Video stalling after software update

has had problems after updating new itunes/ipod update? wish had paid more attention laptop auto updating morning before clicked 'yes' i'm assuming both ipod , itunes update.

anyway, ever since update time try sync ipod freezes , crashes. can't mbp sense ipod there, , when plug in crashes. i've tried resetting settings on ipod didn't good. ideas/suggestions appreciated.

on note, husband has brand new imac , having problems after autoupdate, though different in nature.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
