MacBook Pro Dies when power disconnected.

my macb00k pro powers down when remover power plug. if put sleep , disconnect power cord remains in sleep mode. second open lid starts wake , dies.
mbp (18 mo. old) battery replacement on guarantee part of overheating-battery recall august ‘06.
when last used battery (3 days ago) ran 1 3/4 hrs on charge. battery charges 98-100%. battery @ 98%. (was @ 100 before unplugged power) cocoanutbattery says - current charge: 3563 mah, maximum battery charge 3623 mah.
current battery capacity: 3623 mah, original battery capacity: 5500 mah current capacity 65% figures last session using battery. battery-loadcycles 14 , mbp registers charging.
need new battery or there else wrong?

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
