Help with opening files in Photoshop

i had reinstall os x on existing system. i've had adobe cs package installed on - of regularly use photoshop - i'm facing major annoyance:

photoshop won't open pic file dragged onto dock icon or doubleclicked. opens files via file>open dialog now.

suppose reinstalling cs solve problem, i'm hoping there easier way fix this. know how?
 

what try use "get info" on 1 of images. says "open with" pick app want, in case photoshop. if asks if want "use application open documents this" click change button.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
