finally picked up a new MBP yesteday...

all apple stores around me have been sold out of base 15" matte screen macbook pros last month or so. didn't want order online because of how long took arrive (oh irony). able locate , pick 1 last night. unfortunately, sold out of old nanos couldn't free 1 student program. lame.
compared 3 year old g4 ibook, mbp sooo nicer. finish fantastic. although it's 1" larger displaywise, wide screen makes huge difference. keypad's going take getting used to, i'll manage.
glad not find yellow tint screen other members here have experienced.
suggestions on apps dl couldnt have on ppc mac?

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
