How to use non-universal binary VST's with Pro Tools? Rosetta?

greetings!

1 click away buying fxpansions recommended vst rtas converter when thought struck me. have 1 of new , shiny imacs , can use universal binary vst's(or matter). main reason getting fxpansion converter wanted use ssl's free listen mic compressor, vst effect. sure enough, quick survey of site revealed not produce ub version. ouch...

question is there anyway @ around having use universal binary vst's new intel systems? i've never used rosetta instance if have run pro tools through don't think thats option. possible use rosetta on plugin?

seems lot of effort go through 1 plug. have played around on someone's system?
