Did my iPhone kill my iBook G4?!?!


i got first mac ibook g4 day tiger released. have been happy it. on 2 weeks ago made second apple purchase of 8g iphone. went set-up , initial sync.

past weekend traveling business trip , purchased 2 shows , movie on itunes watch during flight on iphone. download took longer expected had stop , turn off computer. did not sync iphone.

few hours later on layover in atl pulled out laptop again. starting plugged in iphone , trouble began. phone wanted sync photos had taken not wanting stopped iphoto starting up. itunes started in effort complete download. went stop turning off airport extreme. once did computer went dead. thinking battery died plugged power source , restarted computer (without iphone attached). time computer booted , started flashing colored screens. looked problem online on iphone , thought might pram. tried resetting it, , looked worked wallpaper screen , few documents had saved desktop appeared well. first move click on iphoto idiot had not backed pictures or music. move killed computer , has not worked since. not boot , light on front not illuminate showing on. fan start run. did try putting in cd came computer regarding diagnostic (?) , can hear spin never boots. not eject either.

i've started become ok fact might have purchase new computer loosing photos , music bit much. have explained think there hope in recovering info or hard drive issue?

have appointment @ mac store evening don't know expect. advice or ideas welcomed. after reading few of these posts realize how little know computer , grateful advice.

you can eject cd holding mouse button down when starts.

in order boot diagnostics cd, have hold down c on keyboard when boots. if can boot that, may able perform archive , install. reinstall mac os , leave photos , stuff intact.
