my review of iPod touch-hater?

ok, admit "hater" grab attention, altho might call me hater, don't reject product.

hot 8g morning bestbuy, sales told me got in last night, 5 of them.

use pda, assessment focused on non-pmp functions

1. screen. dark, played same video on mb, palm t|x, , ipod touch, touch's color darker other 2 (not brightness related)

2. wi-fi battery life, started browsing internet around 12:20p, @ 3:10p, reported 20% battery left. estimation of touch's wi-fi battery life 3.5 hrs. better palm t|x's 2hrs.

3. mobilesafari, indeed mobile browser, however, can't put on top when compare 1 have (blazer , opera mini 4 beta on palm), reasons are:

3.a. slow, speed of mobile safari 1/2 or 1/3 of desktop browsers. altho om4 , blazer isn't faster neither, still kinda disappointing since expect desktopsafari..

3.b. fit width function, in mobilesafari, if increase font size, web content out of screen, know mimic desktop browser. truth is, operamini 4's full page zoom, altho gives no control of size of font. wrap web content fit width of screen. saves scrolling page left , right.

3.c forward/backward slow compare opera mini 4. thought read page cache?

4. device running pretty warm after 1.5 hours. hotter palm t|x

5. indeed have limited functions, im sure invest time hacks.
 

you have give little credit though. you're comparing pda. touch supposed ipod, , wifi device.

being said, yes, of observations true. waiting hacks well.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
