so had lot of free time today , started playing illustrator creating various documents different page sizes. , thought measure document size @ 100% zoom, see if same size had selected when creating new document. example: created illustrator document these measures: width: 2 inches, height: 2 inches. , zoomed 100% , measured black square. , surprise measured: width: 1.3 inches, height: 1.3 inches. why? has display setting?   see this... http://mediadesigner.digitalmedianet.com/articles/viewarticle.jsp?id=59200 think adobe products assume screen resolution 72 dpi... whereas mac display somewhere more around 105-125....
