so i'm concidering getting new imac 24in 2.8ghz w/2g or 4g of ram. i'll buy , install ram myself of course. question got theirs this...

i'm gamer... worth it?

play games wow , starcraft 2 when comes out. might want try crysis when comes out know machine won't come close maxing out...

worth it?

good evening , first post =) i'll try start out on right foot , sound half-way intelligent. acquired gimped powerbook g4 1 of our 'daughter' companies. laptop works fine when using a/c adapter. if unplug a/c adapter while power on, screen/keyboard lights go off. however, hard drive still spinning. if plug a/c adapter in, lcd backlight comes on, not display on screen. have hold power button down few seconds power down completely. upon turning on, works fine again. sound battery issue or motherboard problem? have checked battery serial number against recall list , 1 supposably good. in advance!   to me sounds hardware (or possibly software) problem. run permissions repair (using disc utility) , make sure software date (use software update check). fresh install of osx may solve too, had similar problem ibook , sorted it, may motherboard issue; if have hardware test disc, run...

it began child in elementary school, looked disapprovingly @ bright red glass of koolaid, , sipped same type of expression. colored imacs not windows machines, , abnormal. later, forced spend 13-15 hours in mall of america middle schooler, drank koolaid first time. loomed giddy mindset on 1ghz ibooks. had opportunity one, passed laptop capable of counter strike: source. shortly after had build gaming machine, apple announced moving intel. knew when machine died, getting mac. grandmother calling me everyday computer issue, , decision made new computer hers aging, , ironically needed work. pushed parents hard mac mini, finally, caved, , though step, realized grandmother had switched before me. though knew nothing past had habitually read on macrumors years, able teach os, , after few question calls, receive no support calls, nice. little on 2 weeks ago, paradoxically amazing , depressing happened. after ranting iphone , it's greatness la...

Apple Script

okay im going lay down problem explian have tried. cool responces. problem have external program saves files path blaa/blaa/movies way in saves these movies compreses movies files 1 file in folder. eg puts different compents folder bundles them delates orginals. problem disc saving doesnt have enough room movies needs store. cant set location of store movies have try route them somewhere. first of when tried making alias folder on different disk program gave me message saying cant save file. thinking of thought make workflow gets items in folder movies them location. tested work flow , worked perfectly. problem getting automated when ever file made in directory. script came , attacheted vie folder actions doesnt work ??? wtf?? help? on adding folder items this_folder after receiving added_items tell application "macintosh hd:users:username:library:workflows:applications:folder actions:moviefile.app" open added_items end...
