i hope right place post this...

dilemma. need improve ergonomics of home workspace. instead of slapping mbp , dell laptops on dinner table (which drives wife nuts), plan setup a better working office space.

mbp i'm going 23" apple cinema display (or comparable if refreshed time buy), new apple keyboard, , desk. desk question.

want 1 less $750 or (but go higher if worthwhile) , has accommodate following:

17" mbp
23" acd , keyboard
17" dell precision m90
airport extreme n
2 usb hp printers
external hard drive aex

has have drawers don't have clutter in open, maybe hutch books (but not requirement). shape issue. don't want square desk, rather kind of wraps around me (ideally sort of coffee bean shape) can have keyboard , acd in middle, , each of laptops sides. iow, want able swivel work on dell laptop. use external keyboard , acd mbp. don't want use kvm switch.

finally, want looks reasonably nice. in first floor room sees traffic (for bathroom) should have high waf. tend more towards modern classic design (like modern american , italian -- think eames chair , naguchi table). ideal, flexible point.

searches desks on internet bit overwhelming, i'm wondering if has similar arrangement like.

okay im going lay down problem explian have tried. cool responces. problem have external program saves files path blaa/blaa/movies way in saves these movies compreses movies files 1 file in folder. eg puts different compents folder bundles them delates orginals. problem disc saving doesnt have enough room movies needs store. cant set location of store movies have try route them somewhere. first of when tried making alias folder on different disk program gave me message saying cant save file. thinking of thought make workflow gets items in folder movies them location. tested work flow , worked perfectly. problem getting automated when ever file made in directory. script came , attacheted vie folder actions doesnt work ??? wtf?? help? on adding folder items this_folder after receiving added_items tell application "macintosh hd:users:username:library:workflows:applications:folder actions:moviefile.app" open added_items end...
