Feeler/FS - Apple TV (upgraded to 100gb) (now with pictures!)

hey folks,

i've been hanging around here , reading many other mac forums, , i've decided need mac of own.


joined here when bought iphone, bought airport extreme before that, , gearing first mac computer. (last apple machine iigs)

however, in order that, need sell few things, 1 of them being apple tv!

have used apple tv unit in great condition i've upgraded 100gb hdd.

naturally, since unit has been opened, suspect apple warranty has gone *poof*, i've never had single problem device since bought near launch date.

i'm including following, in original apple tv box.

1x apple tv w/ 100gb hdd (5400 rpm samsung spinpoint hm100jc)
1x apple remote
1x apple tv powercord


optionally, want it,

have original 40gb fujitsu hdd came unit , usb-powered 2.5" external enclosure.


currently, unit has software modifications installed -

capable of mounting external usb storage , has nito tv installed, perian.

these not official features of product, mentioning them no other reason fact present. there no media content on hard drive, nor there @ time of sale.

features unit posesses can (and will, if requested prior shipment) removed performing restore apple tv service menu, aside storage, of course.

if you're interested in everything, including enclosure , original hdd, see $275 shipped everything.

good evening , first post =) i'll try start out on right foot , sound half-way intelligent. acquired gimped powerbook g4 1 of our 'daughter' companies. laptop works fine when using a/c adapter. if unplug a/c adapter while power on, screen/keyboard lights go off. however, hard drive still spinning. if plug a/c adapter in, lcd backlight comes on, not display on screen. have hold power button down few seconds power down completely. upon turning on, works fine again. sound battery issue or motherboard problem? have checked battery serial number against recall list , 1 supposably good. in advance!   to me sounds hardware (or possibly software) problem. run permissions repair (using disc utility) , make sure software date (use software update check). fresh install of osx may solve too, had similar problem ibook , sorted it, may motherboard issue; if have hardware test disc, run...

MacBook hang up PLEASE HELP!

ok want macbook. im waiting couple of things. first of leapord of course. secondly when next hardware update going happen because figure must judgeing when last update was. things thats holding me getting 1 graphics card. want light video editing such capturing footage or small sd projects use imac hd , large project editing. light gaming, aoe iii, battlefield games, , wow. can wait while before end of year/ january. when guys think update happen (i know there bunch of speculation already) , if not guys think should go ahead , macbook (after leapord update of course). im not looking absolutly stellar performance in editing , gaming, have desktop that, travel , general use. dont want 1 of people goes "well whats coming should wait that" because in computers never end. im in bit of conundrum, guys think should do?   also if possible can tell me gma 950 card far how video preview works fin...

okay im going lay down problem explian have tried. cool responces. problem have external program saves files path blaa/blaa/movies way in saves these movies compreses movies files 1 file in folder. eg puts different compents folder bundles them delates orginals. problem disc saving doesnt have enough room movies needs store. cant set location of store movies have try route them somewhere. first of when tried making alias folder on different disk program gave me message saying cant save file. thinking of thought make workflow gets items in folder movies them location. tested work flow , worked perfectly. problem getting automated when ever file made in directory. script came , attacheted vie folder actions doesnt work ??? wtf?? help? on adding folder items this_folder after receiving added_items tell application "macintosh hd:users:username:library:workflows:applications:folder actions:moviefile.app" open added_items end...
