What I learned reading the iPod touch manual...

here's few interesting tidbits / oddities found in ipod touch manual @ apple's site:

-you can delete video directly ipod, without having sync computer. guess offers quick way free few hundred mbs if want purchase stuff wifi store.

-oddly, keyboard can't name "on go" playlists. have thought days of generic "on go 1" & "on go 2" playlists gone on-screen keyboard. stranger still, can name our alarms!

-the calendar seems basic. i'm no mathematician, assumed have square root, measurement calculations, maybe tip calculator in sort of presets built-in. there goes excuse have ipod on desk @ school ;)

-auto brightness sounds cool. says uses ambient light sensor powerbook. neat!

-um... there's speaker! (kinda). says it's internal speaker, guess it's current ipod speaker gives clickclickclickclick sound click wheel , beeps alarms, ipod touch says has sounds lock & unlock, appointments , typing. wonder if hack come around change sounds play these events.

-tv out remains! know here asking that.

-contacts, photos, etc managed under settings tab in itunes called "info".

-the ipod in manual's picture shows capacity of 14.64 gb. can assume that's true capacity of touch before adding material?

have noticed in manual?

laaaaaame.

cannot wait hack thing pieces. built-in functionality seems half-assed in many ways.
