Mac OS X Webserver

hi,

have webserver activated in system preferences , worked fine. friends on net access page typing http://ip/~username.

suddenly, adress bar gets replaced local host name or network id. on internet! of course leads them not being able connect, since not on network.

appreciated, since technicality difficult research on google.
 

do have permanent ip address isp? router use nat? have set apache use permanent ip address (if have one)?

edit : oh , ip address friends using access machine? if starts 192.168 won't work.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
