Which web development language should I learn?

hi,

have decided (for fun) web development, , have been banging head against wall trying pick language learn. pretty strong in both c++ , java, , have done few things oracle (sql). quite comfortable oop, , prefer elegant (and highly readable) code - excludes perl! write few things facebook start, , possibly few dashboard widgets. trying decide between python, php, or ruby. know people use java, others it's overkill. should start with? used working ides (eclipse java) , debuggers, please keep in mind in response.
 

i'd learn both php , ruby. can both similar things, can use php (if on low end web host or something.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
