Where (and what) to Buy?

hello all,
hope purchase new imac either tomorrow or wednesday, have several questions:
1) there advantages buying stock imac online @ apple instead of @ apple store- live 40 miles store, , saturday although called, time arrived 24" imacs gone. live 3-4 more days until actual computer arrives, want know ordered , on way.
2) iworks worth money?
3) if aren't planning fancy it, new .mac worth try?
4) have 3 year old d-link wireless router (the 50 buck variety). have 2 (maybe three, if use current computer) windows xp machines need hook new imac. problems knows of older routers , imac?

i'm disappointed in currys' online service. ordered 16gb touch, once had received confirmation email realised address had wrong house number. tried call them, , bounced around 5 different phone numbers (some repeated, different instructions!) , turned out best advice give me cancel order, , order again change house number! how outrageous. anyway, cancelled order , didnt bother ordering again. time i'm going official apple store. it'll take few more days deliver, better discount voucher. oh, know lazy , myself, apple store's refund policy, if find touch not me can return within 28 days, if isnt defective? because i'd rather have classic?   oh dear god... thought had cancelled it. turns out happened call again due lack of confirmation on cancellation, , said not possible me cancel order had apparently been dispatched already. summing up, have wait ipod (whi...

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
