How to Speed up a MacBook running XP with Parallels

i have macbook 2.0ghz intel core duo 2 1gb ram.
run windows xp pro boot camp partition.
takes me aproximately 5 min :eek: since start parallels moment when windows able respond of requests, messenger startup included.
used run msn video chat friends , relatives, while surfing web , mail on osx.

beside adding more ram else speed windows experience parallels.

suggestion welcome.

please post startup time hardware configuration compare ram, processor model , if using parallels or vmware fusion.

i allocate 1gb windows , starts in less 2 minutes. faster method close out. goes "standby" until start program again.

have macbook core duo 2ghz 2gb of ram.

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
