Should I bother getting iLife 08?

after reading countless threads how of iapps in ilife 08 crashing, how new imovie sucks, how idvd pretty same in previous version, how people sick of new ilife removing , getting old 1 back, etc, sounds me perhaps should not bother getting version of ilife. or maybe apple release patch fix many of these problems in near future. should do? thanks.
 

tough call.

personally, easy call me. use ilife exclusively iphoto. don't tell anyone, i'd buy iphoto $79 if need be.

concept of new imovie. in opinion, should have been added 5th app, rather replacing older version. lot of same stuff, it's better cateloging utility older version.

since, default, new install of imovie doesn't overwrite older version of imovie, i'm happy it.

far rest of apps go...

garage band: not interested.

idvd: long it's on-par previous version, i'm happy. don't use much. put of vids on appletv , youtube.

iweb: it's every bit worthless last version. allow create nice web sites quickly? absolutely. bloated code makes unusable business situations.

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
