Public Folder not working

i have 2 accounts on computer , i'd share files between both accounts. both accounts have admin control.

unfortunately, when put file (f.ex. .doc file) in public folder, doesn't show when log other account. tried putting file in drop box, , putting in public folder. , @ no time file show other account. fwiw, under system preferences-->sharing--->services enabled "personal file sharing" - makes no difference. repaired permissions, re-booted. still can't share files through public folder. i'm on 10.4.10 updated. ideas? tia!

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
