i ex-pat in japan. bought wii find not region free , in japanese. had week, exchanged ps3 because region free , in english.

brought home ps3 , hooked hdmi, figured out how turn on (power switch on , front. xbox kid :) ) and....nothing!! light turned green , nothing. reset , tried again , worked, froze in middle of set up. reset , again, , turned on, beeped 3 times , flashed red overheating. googled problem , found common!

worth money!!?? (even though saved bit :) )

going try again, , if happens again, may xbox kid. again :(

update: ps3 working great now! share favourite games!
 

well sounds have not enabled hdmi output.
hence not seeing anything. stupidly - ps3 not auto detect video output unless tell to.

here's how.

force ps3 detect signal doing following

turn off ps3 it's in standby (red light on)

press powerbutton on console , keep finger on 5 - 10 seconds.

force ps3 suitable video output , should detect hdmi.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
