Did anyone activate on a computer that won't be their main one?

i have go apple store tomorrow , new iphone (because of problems software on old one). i've been hearing, i'll have go through activation process when new one.

here's problem:

closest apple store 2 , half hours away. 1 dysfunctional iphone, sure new working before leave store , drive way home. have powerbook , imac--with imac being main computer. question still sync fine imac if activate powerbook?

know intuitively seems it's matter of syncing iphone whichever computer feel (similar ipod), of stuff in apple manual refers "syncing computer activated with," if use "lock" function , forget passcode. i'm hoping ipod , means "the computer you're syncing with," i'd hear if else has done before?

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
