hi

i'm in uk , work 3 win xp pro machines (2 desktops , 1 laptop), 1 of acts server centrally storing working files (word, access databases, excel, etc).

want buy mbp , know mbp can open/edit/write files on xp machine stores files.

thinking of getting separate network storage box , having attached router , using pcs , mpb access.

want mbp able access network storage box through osx (leopard) , through parallels/vmware version of xp pro running on mbp.

wondered if give advice when buying such box , if there config issues consider mbp accessing box through both osx , xp pro.

in advance.
 

you can access shared drives on pc mac. isn't problem, hd needs formated in fat32 can read , write. ntfs not work out of box unless purchase software mac.

if have fat32 drive on winxp server , share on network can mount on mac , away go.

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
