MBP dying already?

so bought mbp 2.4ghz last week, , since i've noticed significant decrease in speed. dock , other animations choppy , shutdown taking longer. after skimming geekbench thread , finding average score model around 3200, decided benchmark own machine. got 1127 -- barely faster old g4 :(. have caused this, , actions should take remedy it?

appreciated :)

did upgrade memory geil 4gb kit -- compatible specification , user reviews, though wonder geil sells separate line of memory chips labeled mac.
 

put old ram in , see if remedies problem.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
