Sharing files between accounts...who owns this folder?

so when setting folder share such itunes library or iphoto etc...should owner "system" or particular user?

tried owning , setting group other user accounts kept getting disk locked or don't have permissions.

put original folder in shared folder , set owner system. created aliases in each user account , renamed folder match original...changed original. each alias points shared folder.

seems lot go through...is there easy process?
 

make user owner, add staff group permission , set read/write.

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
