Cannot access files from NTFS drive - iMac 2.16 C2D

salutations,

got new imac morning (refurb 2.16 c2d), , in process of finally, migrating on awful dell have been using 6 long years.

while know intel macs can read windows ntfs-formatted external drives, not aware can "selectively see" on drive.

explanation:

trying pull music drive. had consolidated library using itunes on pc. however, imac not seeing folder. moreover, not seeing several other folders valuable information stored in them. curiously, massive image directory (in excess of 50 gigs) happily recognized new imac, along several other (seemingly random) folders on drive.

have solution? way off?

aww....

bummed if have copy every single gig's worth of data onto dvds...that take days! have somewhere on order of 139 gigs of data...

there isn't kind of workaround knows? i've googled beat hell, , read these forums crazy, can't find solution.

no 1 has ever seen selective reading before drive?


oh well, anyway...

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
