Help ! Error at start up after the update !!!!

i have 2.16 ghz, macbook pro. downloaded mac combo update , installed it. @ 90% screen went blue little loading circle in lower center. :(

restarted , shows error message + message in dark block restart pressing power button.

ooh... that's kernel panic (hard system crash, is) @ startup. not sign--means went wrong installation of update, screwed osx install.

there may easier ways fix this, far know best bet start dvd came computer , "archive , install" reinstall of everything. should preserve data , user information, clean, working copy of os installed.

reinstall update , hope goes better.

suppose try booting safe mode:

...and if works, try reinstalling combo updater fresh download. i'm not optimistic that'll good, though.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
