Confused about Mac Pro Ram

looking add additonal 4gb 2 512k sticks in mac pro 2.66. better off going 4 1gb or 2 2gb sticks? also, there reason spend 80 bucks , go mac pro certified ram rather cheaper apple qualified ram owc?

technically 4 1gb sticks , tossing 512s give optimum memory performance. in reality difference going negligible sticking the 512s - remember put 1gb sticks in slots 1 , 2 on each memory board. not consider using 2gb sticks due price - unless planning major memory upgrade down line.

apple or not apple. tricky. if (big if) certified compatible there should no problems. in theory. :d

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
