Sell MBP or Not? Mac feats?

mac feats has newer 2.8 faster mbp though:
a) it's ram render preview (not realtime)
b) 2.8 vs 2.2

in experience, tried 6 new imacs 2.4 , 2.8 , added 1 - 7 fx or transistions in fcp. stuttered every time.

not 1 of mac book pros stuttered. sure, 2.8 render faster, real time fx or transitions, stutters.

anyway, 2.2 less 1 month old, have ready shell $1800 me if want on weekend.

do:
i) music, soft synths, vocals, drum machine logic, nuendo, etc.
ii) editing.

lose express slot meaning no esata card , raid 2 (2) lacie d2 hd's. or should hold onto mbp , wait newer mac pro's?

thinking performance gain in audio faster hd, 800 fw on both , huge display price of mbp lose express slot , raid capabilities. don't call them mbpros no reason know.

advice?

on in mac forums saying stuttering fixed. , wondering if ram render way go anyway?

video secondary, audio first, again lose raid, gain larger display (which buy anyway) , use fw800 (would fast enough), high end audio fw400. if 1 connected imac 400, hd's 800, count slowing down?

confused big time.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
