is leopard going to slow down my mbp?

this might dumb question if kindly ignore it. got new sr mbp. when leopard know going take advantage of 64 bit , multiple cores, so.... mean since using more of computer make other things slower, or going more efficient , make things faster? dont know expect.

no, no, no...

since leopard 64-bit able squeeze more power out of every cycle, run faster. doesn't mean slow things down, faster. plus, osx remarkably efficient, can osx on machines wouldn't touch ten-foot pole, although seems requirements (understandably) moving :)
