unison and usenet-news.net

i have might call unique problem. i'm getting connection refused errors when attempt download files via usenet-news.net on both unison , igrabnews.

i'm hoping fellow mac user can duplicate this, know it's not wrong setup. usenet-news.net works beautifully on windows machine no problems, know unison , igrabnews issue. connection refused errors sometimes, other times able file after retrying several times. thing can think of why i'm having problem because there '@' in username. if can diagnose or replicate, appreciate it. in advance. :confused:
 

are using same port on both windows , mac?

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
