Penryn and Harpertown

ok.whats difference in these 2 upcoming processors? penryn general name harpertown , wolfdales?

idk..i have , looked , penryn seems supposed 45nm quad , dual cores, 12mb l2 cache , 1600 and1333 gb fsb..which.seems waht harpertown is..except dual core..which seem wolfdale.


cant wait new mac pro..hopefully soon.
 

penryn used refer upcomming core 2 architecture utilizes sse4 , uses 45nm process. it's used refer replacement merom (mobile) processors based on said architecture. confusing least.

anyway, harpertown name xeon quad core processors using penryn architecture, wolfdale-dp being used xeon dual core processors, wolfdale desktop dual core, , yorkfield desktop quad core.

effectivly penryn core 2 duo version 2, though there far many twos there call such.

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
