MBP - Constant Program Crashing and Waking From Sleep

i've got sr 2.2ghz macbook pro , have lately been experiencing 2 problems more , more...

first programs, firefox , vlc player, crash. lot. vlc occurs whenever seek video on time bar, firefox occur randomly when i'm browsing, , never @ same page.

second whenever try wake sleep, either take long time have login screen come (as in 1-2 minutes... longer takes me boot up), or never come after waiting 10 minutes or so... computer on, won't if press keys (interestingly enough, caps , num lock turn green), or if move , click trackpad , connected mouse.

have idea what's up? second problem main concern , it's starting tick me off since happens @ least half of time.
 

exact same problem here. tried various solutions recommended me, including:

changing sleep mode in terminal.
adding user account, using that.
clearing caches.
repairing disk permissions.
archive , install.
full erase , install.
destroying enabled bluetooth related features.

, on...


upshot, me, none worked, problem got worse , worse until 100% of time, sleep kill machine plus constant unexplained crashing.

1 thing machine not sleep menu bar @ all. nothing happen.

mine reseller under repair currently. has had display/top case , logic board replaced, 1 of firewire ports wasn't working either.

i've had no direct contact techies know why they've taken action or upshot is, still waiting on atm. luck.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
