Automatic File Management?

is there way automatically sort different kinds of files copy usb drive or web downloads? instance, can automator or program move excel files folder, word another, pictures another, , on?
 

sure. should able using either automator or using applescript directly. however, need ask why.

useful purpose there organizing files filetype?
why not organize task or date instead?

suffice say, think organization scheme has potential cause lot of headaches down road. don't know how work, need 3 word files @ same time. however, may need word file, pdf, , jpeg @ same time. find far better keep thing use together.

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
