Ali iMac DVD player

hi all

after moving files , apps across old emac onto imac had trouble
dvd player, basicaly would'nt work

deleted , reinstalled install disks using pacifist.

couple of small things after doing :

in (get info) states app universal, had set open rosetta work.

other thing when insert dvd dvd player tries open in dock closes.

works ok if open manually though.

not big deal, open when insert dvd :)


thanks....
 

problem resolved, turned out dvdplayer framework lower version should have been.

must have come across when move files across.

reinstalled framework bundled disks ok :)

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
