can a mac and a pc share an ipod?

i have mac , husband has pc , bought brand new ipod classic share. until decides he's done computer overheating every hour , updating virus software , decides join me in mac bliss, have work out way our music , video on ipod while using our respective platforms, bringing questions hope can me with.

1. there better way sync both of our music ipod aside putting 1 computer , keeping track of download? tried manual sync, have worked if both on same platform, appears have commit mac or pc. have external drive both use if helps.

2. has kinds of video files, avi, itunes can put on ipod. have suggestions on how convert these files itunes can play (preferrably doesn't cost money)?

in advance.
 

i beleive if ipod formatted in windows, mac can still access it. i'm not sure if goes ipods, works usb flash drive.

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
