Pro tools vs logic 8 ?

has compared these 2 programs? if lets hear :d

i'm running m-powered pro tools 7.1 on os 10.4 i'm considering switching logic pro 8. investigated logic after price drop found lot more too.

pro tools:
-32 tracks (only 16 stereo), becomes problematic aux. bus.
-no omf/aaf support out of box ($500usd plugin le only)
-no 5.1
-only supports digidesign or m-audio hardware (might not suit needs)
-only 1 midi instrument out of box (a recent addition)

logic:
-255 mono or stereo tracks, 64 buses
-omf, aaf , xml support out of box
-up 7.1 mixing out of box
-use variety of hardware
-backwards compatible garageband
-comes heck of lot of instruments (both midi , di)

haven't used logic 8 yet, i'm little weary of new interface, particularly single window design. hope there way have tools in own windows again.

thing keeping me on pro tools using fx pansion's vst rtas wrapper, full functionality of plug-in have run windows on imac. opensource windows vst community quite amazing.
