Networking via Ethernet when on Wireless

this must simple, can't seem work out how it.

i'm on wireless , want stay on internet via wireless, yet want connect via ethernet mac , share files via way. how do it?
 

i have been wondering same thing while now.

on same sort of topic last night setting new ape without internet connection. hoping network mbp on wireless, 12" pb connected via lan port, couldn't pb connect network because network wasn't connected internet. in network preferences little light next ethernet yellow saying along lines of ethernet cable connected may not able connect internet. kicker "connect" button inactive. hopes share data off hd of pb through network, , possibly connecting 1 of external drives pb have little more space put stuff on network. don't feel using usb port drive, because haven't heard great things speed when drives connected via usb port.

idea on how fix connecting problem on pb or way achieve file sharing set computers , hd's have described above?

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
