Mac Pro not recognizing extra RAM

hi gang,

got 2gigs of ram 2.66 mac pro. bought stock 1gb, added matched pair (2x1gb) , added matched pair (2x1gb). powered , computer recognized 1gig sticks (all four) not orig 2x512. have placed ram in proper slots , made sure seated computer has dimm riser a/dimm 3 & 4 listed empty. 2x512 sticks are. ideas?

(the newest ram being recognized, that's no prob. mac "forgot" orig ram guess)

 

do 512s work in riser b 3 & 4?

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
