Once iPod Touch 1.1.1 hacked, who is going to wait?

just quick question. know many of waiting see happens 1.1.1 hacks eagerly am. although excited see hacked, still think wait until apple releases there next update see functionality add , see if start bricking ipods did iphones. wondering if weird person around here doesnt want have nice, shiny, broken ipod touch. :-d

based on fact method using hack infact rather serious security flaw in device, i'd expect apple patch shortly after hack viable average user, if not before.

i'm going wait play out, can't see apple bricking devices have utilised hacks, though can't trust them these days.

Currys UK online order nightmare!

i'm disappointed in currys' online service. ordered 16gb touch, once had received confirmation email realised address had wrong house number. tried call them, , bounced around 5 different phone numbers (some repeated, different instructions!) , turned out best advice give me cancel order, , order again change house number! how outrageous. anyway, cancelled order , didnt bother ordering again. time i'm going official apple store. it'll take few more days deliver, better discount voucher. oh, know lazy , myself, apple store's refund policy, if find touch not me can return within 28 days, if isnt defective? because i'd rather have classic?   oh dear god... thought had cancelled it. turns out happened call again due lack of confirmation on cancellation, , said not possible me cancel order had apparently been dispatched already. summing up, have wait ipod (whi...
