Trouble connecting to certain websites...

hi all, first time poster, long time lurker here.

made (wise) move mac side new imac. when browsing websites, realize there occasional addresses not load properly. "problem loading page" & "unable connect" error message here on firefox. same thing happens safari, i'm pretty sure it's not browser-specific issue. when go same websites on pc, seem load fine. ideas what's causing problem? mac os x issue website designs?

error message looks this:
unable connect
firefox can't establish connection server @ *******.com.
* site temporarily unavailable or busy. try again in few moments.
* if unable load pages, check computer's network connection.
* if computer or network protected firewall or proxy, make sure firefox permitted access web.

are using airport or direct connection (dsl/cable ethernet or dial line)? if it's airport, can try using interference robustness, should solve problem may make pages load little bit slower...

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
