how to instal windows...

the thread it's clear, i.m noob :(
i'm aplolagise, used "search" dont find want.

want tell me if can instal windows on imac , if can, pls tell me how can ...pls guide me steb-by-step...and thx lot.

first, imac want install windows on?
can installed on intel-based imac. (older ppc imacs cannot dual-booted windows).

saw link. imac fine (it's intel-based imac), though little sluggish. 2gb of memory better xp or vista. 512mb inadequate.

, intel-based imacs, firmware updates necessary able use bios-based operating system such windows must first installed. necessary firmware updates newer imacs installed @ factory, need installed if imac first-generation intel-based imac.

so, here outline:
first, make sure have necessary software disk (a full xp or vista install disk -- these may either "full oem" install disk windows, or "full retail" install disk (comes in box, costs beau coup bucks). must licensed versions. oems released major manufacturers, such dell, gateway, hp, etc cannot used (not licensed apples).

1) make sure have latest imac firmware installed.
2) download , install boot camp assistant beta 1.4 in os x.
3) follow apple's directions doing this, found at
http://www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp/
4) install windows according apple's directions.
necessary information found there. not attempt tweak apple's instructions. advise print out apple directions (found inside .dmg file download) before attempting it.)

bootcamp 1.4 beta download quite large, not attempt using low-bandwith connection, such voice/fax modem.

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
