Current lowend mbp 15" VS current-1 Highend 17" mbp

hi everyone,

ok, windows pushed me buying apple thing had 1 (ibook 12" g3) , since hate using windows.
i'am thinking 2 options:

macbook pro ma611 nb core duo 2.33ghz/17''/2gb/160gb/dvd+-rw/radeon x1600/wlan/bt/mac os (current-1 release of highend macbook pro)

or

macbook pro ma895 nb core 2 duo 2.2ghz/15.4''/2gb/120gb/dvd+-rw+dl/geforce 8600m gt/wlan/bt/mac ( current low end mbp)

know new 1 has 'n' wifi, led lcd new chipset.
don't mind 17" display.

wanted know is:

see apple has lots of bugs in there hardware (that's why don't think mb anymore, don't want have cracks, because friends have). tell me 1 of theese 2 more 'reliable' in terms of build quality?

still 1 of them faster, newer 1 lot faster (not in processor clock, actually), because i' quite interested in final cut , photoshop?

think waiting till leopard comes give usefull?

maybe more should know?

i current 17'' mbp , best computer i've ever had, highly recommend gettting 17. i've owned 15'' mbp, macbook , 12'' pb in past , don't find 17'' less portable because used size within first week. :d

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
