iMac G3 w/8MB video ram vs 16MB vRam, what will run 10.4 better? Does it matter?

hey guys. first post.

i'm planning on getting first mac since imac g3's cheap enough on ebay now. i'm going getting 1 600mhz , max out ram. i'm looking @ two, 1 snow(white) imac has 16mb of video ram. other blue one, not sure colour called, colour better snow. anyways, 1 has 8mb of video ram. other that, specs exact same. difference in video ram make of different when run osx 10.4?

yeah, it'll make difference they'll both pretty slow. panther might better bet. has compromise between stability, features , resource usage. :)

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
