Adobe lightroom was really nice.. but cant rename batch without bridge?

i looking replacement picassa , found light room real promising, although ran slow , had few issues on importing.. said 38 of files out of 4,000 corupt later imported them fine.. anyways, wanted rename 20 pics downloaded off digital camera , found needed plug in called "bridge". problem is, not included.. although part of photoshop guess lightroom designed accompany ps , not designed stand alone... thats sucks cuz looking nice.... tried figure out how rename of files not having luck. help.
 

i'm pretty sure can use automator batch rename files.

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
