Sept. Edu Promo Vs. Oct. Leopard Release

i think have made decision, wanted hear of opinions (i amazed @ insight people in these forums have). going buy 24" imac sometime in next 2 months. university staffer , qualify educational discounts/promos. , appreciate feedback on is:

should buy imac after sept 5. event , ipod $200 rebate, free printer, , $30 off .mac; have pay leopard in 2 months? (i own 60 gig ipod)

or

should wait until leopard released, saving upgrade cost of os (~$65 through college purchasing) , potentially having there other promos or slight hardware update imac leopard release?

again think leaning 1 way on other, wanted insight may missing. watching thread relates.

grab ipod promo...it comes around once year , more through deal waiting leopard.

don't expect imac update before january @ earliest.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
