Internet Connect's relentless "Stay Connected?" popups

hi! i'm running 10.4.8 on macmini -- tragically -- dial-up service. in trying fix connection problem other day, snooped around in areas of computer stay safely away from, don't believe changed settings.

turned out error on part of isp , now... except ever since then, stopped in tracks every 30 minutes popup message internet connect tells me i'm still connected internet , asks whether want disconnect or stay connected.

every. thirty. minutes. augh!

i've searched preferences , can't find seems switch obnoxious little message off... surely there must way. can enlighten me, please? :confused:

oddly enough, got answer on cat-lover's site! in case needs know, there settings buried under network/modem/ppp/ppp options allow turn message off. :)

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
