currently have mac pro stock 250gb in bay 1 , 500 gb drive in bay 2.
when leopard gets released, if go out , internal 500gb drive, , want clean install of leopard on drive:
1) can have both new drive , current tiger boot drive in machine @ same time?
2) how os x know choose @ boot?
3) can use migration assistant point current boot drive still in machine migrate on user data once leopard installed on new drive?
basically, want able leopard on day 1.....and install it. want easy way of rolling if apps don't work right me. , i'd fresh clean install of leopard anyway, , copy settings on other drive.
guess, mac smart enough pick newest os installed on drive , not worry other in machine, , let me access secondary drive?
in end, i'd use current 250 gb drive clone-only backup solution.
i'd using 500gb owc external time machine backups.
thanks!

i'm not sure happen right after install leopard, think boot leopard.
then, tiger, hold option during boot.
if wacky purposes boots tiger instead go system prefs , change selection in "startup disk" section.
it's entirely possible this.
